One of the hottest topics is the FCC is looking to rollback
some Obama Era laws that protected net neutrality. The FCC
Chairman, Ajit Pai, who looks very hatable according to Chip is
proposing getting rid of “net neutrality.”
For those who don’t know net neutrality is the principle
that Internet service providers must treat all data on
the Internet the same, and not discriminate or charge
differently by user, content, website, platform, application, type
of attached equipment, or method of communication. For
instance, under these principles, internet service providers are
unable to intentionally block, slow down or charge money for
specific websites and online content.
In lay terms, your ISP can charge more or block access to
certain types of website. YouTube, video streaming sites and your
favorite porno site could be blocked by your ISP unless you pay to
access these sites. Imagine paying a $30 base internet package and
then adding $10 month for social media site access and $5 month for
email access.
Chip is really concerned about his porn access being revoked
or having to pay a fee to access
his “spank material.”
Chip has been going over his data use every month with
Xfinity. Chip’s Alexa almost ordered toilet
Net Neutrality will hurt the downloads for the Chip
