Chip and Cern back on YouTube Live, do some fake live reads
for all the podcasts with all the famous podcast sponsors. Chip was
feeling old and doesn’t want to fall behind on what is cool and
doesn’t want to be that dad that only listens to classic rock and
doesn’t know who the new kids are listening to. Chip has been
seeing Post Malone pop up everywhere, so he was trying to figure
out who he is and why he is so popular. Chip and Cern dive into
some of his music, YouTube videos and listen to some of his new
album beerbongs & bentleys.
His song “rockstar” has nearly a billion streams just on
Spotify alone, so there is no denying that he is the bee’s knees.
Chip was watching a YouTube video where someone gave him a 24k gold
bike. Chip and Cern were trying to break down his look, which it is
clear he doesn’t give much of a fuck about how he looks. Cern said
he looks like the lead singer of Counting Crows.
Chip then was told he needed to be swervin’ to enjoy Post
Malone music. Chip and Cern then looked up what it means to be
“swervin” and Chip and Cern def have been swervin’ back in their
misspent youth.
Chip and Cern listen to some Post Malone and don’t hear much
in the lines of grunge or country music influence.
Chip has never done a beerbong before, but of course Joe has.
Chip and Cern were just more of the hangout and get drunk as
opposed to jumping off roofs and through tables.
Post Malone is woke AF and voted for Bernie Sanders.
Chip and Cern commit to giving the new Post Malone album a
spin to see what it is all about.
Then the guys get into a tangent where they start talking
about SiriusXM channels. Cern is confused on why they bleep out
certain curses or even non-curses, but will bleep out booze
references or domestic violence.
There is a rumor that Axel Rose is making a new album w/ AC/DC
and Cern is upset.
