Chip and Cern have their fair share of office drama. Cern has
his coffee nemesis that leaves
a millimeter of coffee in the pot and then claims they don’t
need to remake the pot because there are some
left.
Chip’s office is
currently under “GuacGate” as he coins it. Chip’s office has a
stocked fridge as most San Francisco companies do and some communal
food has been stolen. Now this isn’t one or two Cliff Bars,
but a entire box of
guacamole packs from Costco which is a 20 pack. Because
Californias love their avocado/ guac this really ruffled some
feathers in Chip’s office. Chip took to Slack to look for the Guac
Bandit.
Over the course of the next few days the GuacGate problem has
been escalated to the point that Chip is thinking the Guac
Bandit got nervous and has curbed their stealing habits.
Chip has opened an investigation at work and has a few
different suspects and areas of interest.
Chip also wants to run a sting operation at work where he
implants a Tile into a new box of guac.
Cern wants to find the suspect and shame them as well as
getting some reasoning behind the theft.
Chip goes over
his top suspects with Cern. Chip’s case is very flimsy and
wouldn’t hold up in a court of law.
There are some
theories that the thief is a “lower on
the totem pole” and they feel they are owed the
additional bonus if you will.
Chip and Cern go
over 15 types of evidence to try to bust someone list and they go
over these. Chip and Cern struggle through the majority of these
words.
Chip and Cern
think that firing the GuacGate thief is somewhat extreme,
but what else is this person doing against the
company?
There was
some suspicion around the cleaning lady what works on the
floor.
Chip really wants
to do a sting at work where the suspect/guac thief is caught
red handed.
