Chip and Cern Show

Jul 13, 2017

The 2017 MLB All-Star Game and all the surround festivities have came and went. Chip and Cern share their thoughts on the game, Home Run Derby, line-ups, Cern and Tony’s All-Star Game experience in 2007 and more. There is also a really solid Brady Anderson tangent.

The show opens with Chip and Cern talking about how they don’t do any show prep, which everyone knows already. In 2007, Tony and Cern took a week off work for the 2007 All-Star Game at AT&T Park. They stayed the entire week at Chip’s apartment and it was a great time. Home Run Derby was top notch, Cern shook Cal Ripken’s hand, Tony Gwynn (RIP, RIP) and more.

The Home Run Derby changed the game play rules a few years back and it has really improved the game.

Chip then poses the question to Cern about what % of MLB players are using PED’s. Cern estimates 10% and Chip would co-sign this.

This throws Chip and Cern into a Brady Anderson tangent.

Chip gives Stat Boy Dana some props on a fantasy baseball battle which didn’t end well for Chip.
